For all problems, use the following rules:
a. The sum of angles on one side of a straight line is 180°.
b. The sum of angles in a triangle is 180°.

y = 134 = 180                (Rule a)
y = 180 - 134 = 46
46 + x + 22 = 180         (Rule b)
x + 68 = 180
x = 180 - 68 = 112°

Answer: 112°

Problem 6
y + 120 = 180               (Rule a)
y = 180 -120 = 60
60 + x + 58 = 180        (Rule b)
X + 118 = 180
X = 180 - 118 = 62

Answer: 62°

Problem 7
y + 170 = 180             (Rule a)
y = 180 - 170 = 10
10 + x + 125 = 180      (Rule b)
x + 135 = 180
x = 180 - 135 = 45

Answer: 45°

Problem 8
(2x-1) + (2x+3) +(4x+2) = 180          (Rule b)
8x + 4 = 180
8x = 180 - 4 = 176
x = 176/8 = 22
Calculate angles.
m∠A = 2x+3 = 2*22 + 3 = 47°
m∠B = 4x+2 = 4*22 + 3 = 91°
m∠C = 2x - 1 = 2*22 - 1 = 43°
